The Third Collapse is nigh.
CJ is a socially awkward, high strung princess from a tiny kingdom in the seemingly peaceful continent of Minaret. She doesn’t like thinking about her birthright or the responsibilities of her station, she likes reading romance novels and keeping her door shut. But the world has other plans, CJ will soon come of age, so her father gives her a special gift: her very own Fairy Godfather. One small issue, “Fairy Godfather” is a euphemism, for an assassin.
This is only the beginning of CJ’s woes. As she thrust into the world into the strife and politics of Minaret, everything she thought she knew about life, morality, and royalty starts coming undone. Around every corner is a new plot, behind every falsehood is a hidden and dangerous truth. Soon she isn’t just dealing with euphemistic “Fairy Godparents” there are euphemistic “Changelings” “Ogres” “Goblins” and “Witches”. All the while the cloak and dagger schemes she uncovers morph and grow into all out wars and civilizational crises. And all the time her assassin whispers in her ear “this is the way of the world, deception, violence and death. Time to get with the program, after all, you wouldn’t want to be left behind would you?”
Can she survive in this chaotic world of intrigue and strife? Will she be able to maintain some semblance of her morality? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
